Enza is a qualified psychologist with extensive experience as a clinical psychologist registered in 1986.
Prior to commencing her own private practice in May 1997 Enza was an Associate with a large Human Resource Organization in Adelaide.
Enza currently consults in her North Adelaide rooms as well two medical clinics located in the Northern and Western suburbs, hence she is familiar and confident working within a multidisciplinary team.
Her clinical work includes diagnosis, assessment and treatment of a range of clinical disorders. The majority of her work has been with adults specializing in trauma and associated depressive and anxiety disorders. In addition, Enza has been providing clinical services to individuals with the following difficulties:
- Post-traumatic stress disorder
- Generalised anxiety disorder
- Bereavement disorder
- Depression Adjustment disorder
- Phobic disorder
- Mixed anxiety and depression
- Obsessive compulsive disorder
- Panic disorder
Enza is very familiar with the Return to Work Act and providing a range of services to address the psychological difficulties arising from work related injuries. Including pain management and stress management, also working extensively with individuals who have sustained a Compulsory Third-Party psychological injury.
Enza is bilingual and familiar with the Italian culture and language.
Being trained in a variety of therapy approaches, Enza will tailor a treatment approach based on a shared psychological formulation/understanding of people’s individual needs, concerns and identified goals. She believes it is important to create a safe, collaborative and non-judgemental space to help people feel comfortable about exploring their difficulties. Enza will work at a pace that feels right for each individual, moving towards understanding what is causing someone’s emotional (or physical) pain and from this point working towards finding a new relationship with themselves and to find healthier ways to survive and ultimately thrive. Enza recognises that this process will be unique to each person seeking treatment.
